Centum is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Design Manager to lead our software development team in designing scalable, high-performance, and maintainable software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in software architecture and design, combined with proven leadership and project management skills.

What You'll Do

Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Define and drive software architecture and design strategies aligned with product and business goals.

Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

Ensure adherence to coding standards, design principles, and best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, QA, product management, and UX/UI design.

Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.

Conduct design and code reviews to ensure quality and performance.

Evaluate and integrate new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance development efficiency.

Support risk management, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues.

Develop the software that manages electronic devices.

Who You are?

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

15+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.

Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, or C#.

Strong proficiency in Operatins systems like Windows, Linux, RTOS such as VX works and integrity.

Experience with software architecture, design patterns, and system integration.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to trace difficult problems using a variety of tools (debugger, JTAG emulator, logic analyser, oscilloscope

Knowledge of serial interfaces and peripherals (I2S, I2C, SPI, 10G/25G Ethernet).

Knowledge of GCC compiler/linker and debugging tools on Windows/Linux platform

Good Knowledge of communication protocols TCP/IP, security protocols and UDP.
