Role Overview & What We Look For

As an E-Software Design Senior Engineer, you are responsible for developing embedded software architectures and modules for automotive and industrial applications. You will design, develop and review software components in accordance with project requirements, safety standards and quality guidelines. The role also involves mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Software Architecture & Design: Responsible for creating software architecture and detailed design for automotive and industrial applications.
• Software Development: Implement embedded software modules in C, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and safety standards.
• Peer Review & Quality: Perform reviews of design and implementation to ensure software quality, performance and maintainability.
• Requirements Analysis: Understand and translate system and hardware requirements into software design specifications.
• Documentation: Create and maintain design documents, including architecture diagrams, interface specifications and user manuals.
• Innovation & Research: Evaluate new tools, frameworks and technologies to improve software design efficiency and quality.
• Project Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, testing teams and hardware teams to ensure seamless software integration and delivery.

Core Competencies

• Strong experience in embedded C programming and software design in automotive domain.
• Motor Control Algorithm Development, Embedded Firmware Development.
• Proven track record in software architecture development for embedded systems.
• Experience with version control tools (e.g., SVN, Git) and software development processes.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262, ASPICE and MISRA‑C standards.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate in a global team.
• Experience in designing for functional safety and system performance optimization.
