Software Quality Assurance Specialist

🧾 Job Title: Process Quality Auditor & Process Improvement Specialist

Reports To: Head of Quality / Process Excellence

We are seeking a meticulous and driven Product Quality Auditor & Process Improvement Specialist with 4 years of experience in software product development and project management within the telecom and fintech sectors. The ideal candidate will lead internal audits aligned with ISO 9001, TL 9000, and CMMI standards, and champion process improvement initiatives that enhance product quality, delivery timelines, and customer satisfaction.

Conduct internal audits for software development and project management processes based on ISO 9001, TL 9000, and CMMI frameworks.
Evaluate compliance with quality standards across SDLC phases, Agile/Scrum practices, and DevOps pipelines.
Document audit findings, recommend corrective actions, and track resolution effectiveness.
Prepare teams for external audits and certification renewals.

📈 Process Improvement

Analyze end-to-end software delivery workflows to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
Lead cross-functional improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile retrospectives.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and PMO teams to implement scalable process enhancements.
Monitor quality KPIs such as on-time delivery, FTR, CSAT, defect density, cycle time, and customer-reported issues.
Maintain and update QMS documentation, SOPs, and process maps to reflect current practices.
Ensure traceability and compliance in project documentation, change management, and release processes.
Facilitate training sessions on quality standards and continuous improvement methodologies.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001 and TL 9000; familiarity with CMMI Level 3 or higher.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and project governance.
Proficient in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Git, and quality management platforms.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience auditing software products in telecom and/ or fintech (e.g., payment gateways, digital banking).
Exposure to regulatory standards such as PCI-DSS, GDPR, or RBI guidelines.
Ability to influence teams and drive change in fast-paced environments.
