Job summary

LearnVantage (ALV) is seeking a hands-on Software Prod & Platform Engineer to own backend components, write tests, and move fast with AI agents. You’ll ship reliable code and navigate unfamiliar territory with strong CS fundamentals.

Based in Bengaluru or Gurugram, you’ll collaborate across teams, adopt AI coding tools like Cursor and Claude, and continuously learn new languages and stacks while delivering high‑quality software.

Qualifications

• Hands-on backend development in a widely used language (Java / Golang / Node.js / C#), backed by solid CS fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, AWS, and relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL).
• First-hand experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Demonstrable, current use of AI coding tools (Cursor / Claude).

• Build and own backend components and features, hands-on in code, with growing independence.
• Use AI development tools (Cursor / Claude) day in, day out to accelerate delivery - rigorously and responsibly, reviewing and verifying what ships.
• Write unit and integration tests; follow strong engineering hygiene (Git, CI/CD, deployments).
• Collaborate across the team to convert requirements into working, well-tested solutions.
• Continuously learn - new languages, tools, and parts of the stack - grounded in CS fundamentals.
