Job summary

Accenture LearnVantage (ALV) product delivery will be owned by you as a Software Prod Plat Eng Manager, while remaining hands-on in code.

You will lead a small, high-performing, AI-enabled team, translate ambiguous requirements into actionable work, and drive quality end-to-end, not simply distribute tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have backend stack proficiency (.NET / Golang / Java / Node.js).
• Hands-on Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and PostgreSQL/MySQL experience.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Proven stakeholder management and people management skills.
• 1+ year using AI coding tools Cursor/Claude; championing these tools.
• Prior experience leading a team of at least 3 people.
• Comfortable in a MacBook (macOS) environment.
• Good to have frontend knowledge (React/Angular/HTML).

• Stay hands-on: design, build, review, and ship backend services; code personally.
• Manage stakeholders across internal and external teams; convert ambiguity into deliverables.

Roles Responsibilities:

• Own client delivery for assigned ALV workstreams (e.g., Citizens and ad-hoc projects such as ATCI) with accountability for timelines and quality.
• Stay hands‑on: design, build, review, and ship backend services; set the technical bar through your own code.
• Manage stakeholders across internal and external teams - converting ambiguous requirements into clear, actionable deliverables.
• Directly manage and grow a team (backend/frontend or full‑stack) - mentoring, planning, and performance management.
• Lead an AI‑enabled team; champion the adoption of AI development tools (Cursor / Claude) to raise productivity and quality.
• Enforce engineering discipline: unit/integration testing, code reviews, and CI/CD.

Professional Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in at least one backend stack (.NET / Golang / Java / Node.js).
• Strong hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL).
• First‑hand experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Proven stakeholder management and people management skills.
• Minimum 1 year of experience using AI coding tools (Cursor / Claude); evidence of championing these tools at their org/unit.
• Prior experience managing a team of at least 3 people.
• Comfortable working in a MacBook (macOS) professional environment.
• Good to have: working knowledge of frontend development (React / Angular / HTML).
