Job summary

Accenture in Bangalore / Gurgaon is seeking a Software Prod & Plat Eng Manager to own client delivery for the Accenture LearnVantage (ALV) product while remaining hands-on in code. You will lead a small, high-performing, AI-enabled team, translating ambiguous requirements into actionable work and driving end-to-end quality.

This is a go-getter role that builds alongside the team. You will manage timelines, design and ship backend services, and champion AI-enabled development tools to boost

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience.
• Proficiency in at least one backend stack (.NET / Golang / Java / Node.js).
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS and relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Experience with AI coding tools (Cursor/Claude) is required or demonstrated.
• Strong stakeholder and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own client delivery for ALV workstreams with timelines and quality accountability.
• Stay hands-on: design, build, review, and ship backend services; contribute code.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into actionable deliverables for internal/external teams.
• Directly manage and grow a backend/frontend or full-stack team; mentor and plan.
• Lead an AI-enabled team and promote AI development tool adoption (Cursor/Claude).
• Enforce engineering discipline: unit/integration testing, code reviews, and CI/CD.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Own client delivery for assigned ALV workstreams (e.g., Citizens and ad-hoc projects such as ATCI) with accountability for timelines and quality.
• Stay hands-on: design, build, review, and ship backend services; set the technical bar through your own code.
• Manage stakeholders across internal and external teams - converting ambiguous requirements into clear, actionable deliverables.
• Directly manage and grow a team (backend/frontend or full-stack) - mentoring, planning, and performance management.
• Lead an AI-enabled team; champion the adoption of AI development tools (Cursor / Claude) to raise productivity and quality.
• Enforce engineering discipline: unit/integration testing, code reviews, and CI/CD.

Professional & Technical Skills

Must To Have Skills

• Proficiency in at least one backend stack (.NET / Golang / Java / Node.js).
• Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL).
• First-hand experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Proven stakeholder management and people management skills.
• Minimum 1 year of experience using AI coding tools (Cursor / Claude); evidence of championing these tools at their org/unit.
• Prior experience managing a team of at least 3 people.
• Comfortable working in a MacBook (macOS) professional environment.

Good to have

• working knowledge of frontend development (React / Angular / HTML).
