Commvault seeks a Software Engineer (Python) for Bengaluru/Hyderabad to contribute to product development and automation, building scalable test frameworks and driving engineering quality. You will collaborate with senior engineers, mentor peers, and help solve challenging customer/network problems in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes test automation, end-to-end testing, and adopting AI-assisted development practices to accelerate delivery.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with virtualization and cloud administration.
• Hands-on experience with Windows and Unix operating systems.
• Strong understanding of clustering and networking.
• Scripting skills, particularly in Python, for automating tests.
• Experience with debugging, unit testing, API testing, and test automation practices.
• Working knowledge of Git or another source-control system.
• Security and SaaS experience strongly preferred.

The Opportunity

We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Software Engineer (Python) in Bengaluru and Hyderabad locations. As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to both product development and automation, building large-scale test frameworks, driving engineering quality, and helping the team adopt modern AI-assisted development practices. You will collaborate closely with senior and principal engineers, mentor peers, and help solve some of the most challenging customer and network problems escalated to engineering.
