Job summary

Worldline is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to lead design, development, and integration of ITSM solutions across platforms. You will guide a team, define standards, and deliver scalable, upgrade-safe applications that align with ServiceNow best practices.

The role demands strong English communication, hands-on expertise in workflows, integrations, and portal development, plus mentoring and technical documentation responsibilities within a global team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience with ServiceNow, developing core ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Asset, Notify, Asset Management, Service Portal, Agent Workspace.
• Expertise with workflows, flow designer, catalog items, Business Rules, Inbound email actions, script includes.
• Experience with web service integrations (REST, SOAP), creation of custom web services, Mid Server configuration

Responsibilities

• Define constraints and develop requirements and concept of operations documentations.
• Develop and implement new ServiceNow applications and integrations from initiation to completion, to customer requirements.
• Maintain and support existing developments, provide design, prototyping, and test cycles; perform code reviews and mitigate risks.
• Design scalable, upgrade-safe solutions with minimal technical debt, aligned to ServiceNow guidelines.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct knowledge transfer sessions; define and maintain technical documentation (HLD/LLD)

Long Description

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Work with stakeholders as well as technical and analytical counterparts to define constraints and develop requirements and concept of operations documentations
• Develop and implement new ServiceNow applications and integrations from initiation to completion, to the customer requirements. Develop workflows and scripts to personalize existing ServiceNow applications and automate and improve business processes
• As a ServiceNow Senior Developer, Maintain and support existing developments. Provide conceptual design, prototype, and test cycles appropriate to chosen technical solution. You will be responsible for Design, code and test Reviews, identify technical risks and develop mitigations strategies
• Design quality features and propose how the applications and solutions should evolve in the future.
• Ability to lead a team, monitor performance, people, SLA/KPI on weekly frequency.
• Reporting project health on monthly frequency local and global. Should poses good presentation skills and crisp and clear communication.
• Define and enforce ServiceNow development standards, governance, and best practices (naming conventions, update set strategy, code quality, security compliance)
• Design and implement scalable and upgrade-safe solutions, ensuring minimal technical debt and alignment with ServiceNow platform guidelines
• Design and implement robust integration architectures (event-driven, async patterns, retry mechanisms, error handling frameworks)
• Mentor junior developers and conduct regular code reviews and knowledge transfer sessions
• Define and maintain technical documentation, HLD/LLD

Who Are We Looking For:

• 5+ years’ experience with ServiceNow, developing core ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Asset, Notify, Asset Management, Service Portal, Agent Workspace
• ITIL Foundations Certification. ServiceNow certified Application Developer
• Expertise with workflows, flow designer, catalog items, Business Rules, Inbound email actions, script includes.
• Experience with web service integrations (REST, SOAP), creation of custom web services, Mid Server configuration
• Experience with portal development, including creation of custom web components in Service Portal [CSS, Angular JS, node.JS, Bootstrap Transformation MAP, Scheduler, Connections with other database/instances, Web Services
• Exposure to testing frameworks (ATF – Automated Test Framework)
• Experience with IntegrationHub, Spokes
• Hands-on experience with Scoped Applications and App Engine Studio
• Ability to synthesize solution design information, architectural principles, available technologies, third-party products, and industry standards to formulate a system architecture that meets client requirements and can be delivered within the desired timeframe
• Can do attitude, thinking out of the box and being open for new technologies and solutions.
• Fluent English, written and spoken
