Job summary

Optum is seeking a Software Engineer-Java with Angular to design, develop, and deliver scalable enterprise applications. You will work within cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust code.

The role emphasizes Java, Angular, OO design, and CI/CD practices in an Agile environment. You will collaborate with product, QA, and operations, contribute to high quality software, and support deployment and production activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of hands on software development experience with proficiency in Java and enterprise application development.
• Solid understanding of object oriented design, coding standards, and testing practices.
• Experience working in Agile teams and delivering software using CI/CD pipelines and modern development tools.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and contribute to high quality, scalable solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and components in alignment with product requirements and engineering standards
