Position/Title: Software Engineer III

Department: Development

Location: Pune

Hours: 2PM to 11PM IST

We are seeking a Software Engineer III to enhance and maintain existing software products as well as develop new products. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with a strong desire for excellence and confidence in their expertise.

Key Duties

• Design and implement assigned User Stories.
• Have basic knowledge for assigned HelpSystems product(s) or work toward obtaining such knowledge.
• Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies.
• Use self‑training tools (e.g., LinkedIn Learning) with self‑discipline.
• Perform testing of defect fixes performed by other developers.
• Follow and help refine our development best practices and standards.
• Help identify and execute tasks to meet project deadlines.
• Comply with standards, version controls, and product release procedures.
• Work with technical writers to ensure product documentation on new features and changes is properly documented.
• Other duties as assigned.

Technical Skills

• C/C++ programming in Windows OS environment.
• Experience in kernel and user land on Windows.
• Very good understanding of networking concepts – TCP/IP, UDP, SSL/TLS, IPSec, VPN.
• Data structures and Algorithms.

Basic Qualifications
