Sabre Hotels team is looking for a Contributor Software Developer to support development of new features and maintain production software for the Hotels distribution platform that connects 170,000+ hotels to travel partners. The role involves rewriting small parts of the system, improving quality and stability, and delivering production-ready software to customers.

• 3+ years of related industry experience in developing production ready java applications.
• Hands-on programming experience and expertise required in Java, JEE and Spring technologies and proven experience in delivering and maintaining production software.
• Good understanding of design patterns, strong OOA/OOD skills a must.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of Web services, XSLT, SOAP, REST, and JSON.
• Experience with Hibernate/Spring JDBC, SQL and data persistence in general.
• Experience working with Agile development methodologies and Test Driven Development.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must be a good team player.
• Knowledge in Java memory analysis, Performance Engineering is preferred.
• Experience in Cloud is a plus.
• Experience in AI Coding Tools would be a plus.
• Experience in one or more Linux scripting languages would be a plus.

General Description

Education

Bachelor Degree required.
