Job summary

Cvent in Bengaluru is seeking a Software Engineer II to join our AI team. You will independently deliver medium to large features end-to-end, from design to production rollout, working on projects like improving our event timeline functionality and pricing tier implementations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of software engineering experience, strong design skills, and familiarity with React, Java, Python, Go, and AWS.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Ability to independently deliver medium/large features with ambiguous requirements.
• Strong engineering design skills with the ability to write and review design documents.
• Experience in video processing & AI/ML is a plus.
• Familiarity with production systems and effective debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop features end-to-end from design to production rollout.
• Improve event timeline functionality and clip customization features.
• Develop new pricing tier implementations and other AI-related projects.
• Collaborate with product teams, designers, QA, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and on-call rotations; mentor junior engineers.

We're seeking a Software Engineer II to join our AI team. The ideal candidate will be able to independently deliver medium to large features end-to-end, from design to production rollout. You'll be working on exciting projects such as improving our event timeline functionality, enhancing our clip customization features, and developing new pricing tier implementations.

Here’s What You Need:

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering
• Ability to independently deliver medium/large features with ambiguous requirements
• Strong engineering design skills with the ability to write and review design documents
• Experience in video processing & AI/ML is a plus
• Good understanding of production systems and effective debugging skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with product teams, designers, QA, and other stakeholders
• Experience in participating in code reviews, on-call rotations, and mentoring junior engineers
• Capability to take ownership of a small area of the product
• Familiarity with technologies like React, Java, Python, or Go, and cloud environments such as AWS
• Experience with database technologies like PostgreSQL.
