Job description

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain high‑quality, scalable, secure applications.
• Use AWS services to build and deploy cloud‑native applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code, using industry best practices.
• Create comprehensive unit and integration tests using JUnit; participate in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline).
• Debug, profile, and optimize code for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Follow secure coding practices and comply with security policies.
• Understand and adhere to data privacy, compliance, and governance regulations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date system and process documentation.
• Take end‑to‑end ownership of features from design to deployment and monitoring.
• Build features with user‑centric mindset, delivering business impact.
• Participate in production support activities, including bug fixes, incident resolution, and root‑cause analysis.
• Participate in SAFe agile planning, estimation, and iteration execution.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Architects, and fellow developers.
• Communicate clearly using Microsoft Teams, Jira, and Confluence.
• Coordinate effectively across time zones with global teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong backend development skills with Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands‑on experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in JavaScript for front‑end development (React is a plus).
• Solid understanding of MongoDB and PostgreSQL (intermediate level).
• Familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, EKS, Step Functions, CloudWatch).
• Bonus: Experience with Node.js in backend development.
