Job summary

Fortanix is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Data Security Manager (DSM) team based in Bangalore. You will code, design, build, and maintain the DSM platform, collaborating with global teams to enhance performance and scalability of data security solutions.

Responsibilities include building core components, backend services, and REST APIs, while driving end-to-end SDLC with emphasis on quality, stability, and security. Join us to redefine cloud security with Fortanix.

Qualifications

• Has 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor or Master in computer science or software engineering.
• Strong backend experience with distributed systems, REST APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Familiar with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes and able to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Build core components of the DSM platform with a global engineering team.
• Develop and run backend services and REST APIs for the Data Security platform.
• Automate and drive end-to-end SDLC with focus on quality and performance.
• Maintain high code quality through code reviews and emphasis on stability, scalability and security.
• Translate product requirements into clear technical designs and implementation plans.

• Has 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.

• A Bachelor/master's degree in computer science or software engineering.
