Job summary

Fortanix is seeking a Software Engineer for the Key Insight team in Bangalore. You will code in Rust and build, maintain, and scale our observability platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance performance and security of cloud security solutions.

Key responsibilities include turning requirements into designs, building backend microservices and REST APIs, and improving database architecture for scalable access. 3+ years of experience and strong Rust backend skills are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficient in building backend systems in Rust.
• Strong backend experience with distributed systems, microservices and REST APIs.
• Familiar with observability: monitoring, logging, tracing.
• Experience with database architecture, scaling and optimization.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Know-how of CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent problem solving and clear communication.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance and optimize the performance and scalability of our cloud security solutions.
