Fortanix Inc. in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Key Insight team. You'll code in Rust and design, build, and maintain our observability platform for cloud security solutions.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance performance and scalability across hybrid multicloud environments. The role emphasizes building robust backend systems, enabling secure data access, and delivering scalable services with a focus on reliability and security.

Qualifications

• Has 4+ years of professional software engineering experience in backend
• Proficient in building backend systems in Rust
• Strong experience with distributed systems, microservices, and REST APIs
• Familiar with observability concepts: monitoring, logging, distributed tracing

Fortanix is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Key Insight team based in Bangalore. In this role, you will play a critical role coding in Rust and designing, building, and maintaining our observability platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance and optimize the performance and scalability of our cloud security solutions.

In this role, you will:

• Turn product requirements into clear technical designs and implementation plans.
• Build and run backend microservices and REST APIs for our observability platform.
• Analyze and fix performance and scalability issues in distributed systems on confidential computing.
• Design and evolve database architecture for scalable, reliable data access.
• Drive high code quality through reviews and a strong focus on stability and security

• Has 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Is proficient in building backend systems in Rust.
• Has strong backend experience with distributed systems, microservices, and REST APIs.
• Understands observability concepts such as monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing.
• Has experience with database architecture, scaling, and optimization.
• Has worked with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Is familiar with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Communicates clearly and solves problems effectively.
