Job summary

NIQ for Digital Commerce is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, and Snowflake. You will work on batch, real-time, and event-driven data processing across cloud platforms and manage Snowflake objects like warehouses, schemas, and Snowpipe.

The role requires 4-6 years of data engineering experience, strong Python/SQL, and cloud familiarity (Azure/AWS/GCP).

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in Data Engineering with strong Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake including performance tuning and data modeling.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP and cloud-native data services.
• Experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, CDC/SCD frameworks, and orchestration workflows.
• Solid understanding of Data Warehousing, Dimensional Modeling, Kimball, and Data Vault concepts.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Terraform/Bicep, and DevSecOps security practices.
• Exposure to AI/GenAI technologies, data quality frameworks, and automated testing tools.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills with mentoring experience

As a Software Engineer, you’ll be part of a team of smart, highly skilled technologists who are passionate about learning and supporting cutting-edge technologies such as Snowflake Tasks, Streams, Pipes (Snowpipe), External Tables, components:Azure: Blob Storage, ADLS, Functions, ADF, Purview.
