Job summary

VideoSDK is seeking a Software Developer to build and maintain its JavaScript SDK. You will contribute to new features, improvements, bug fixes, testing, and debugging with a focus on the JavaScript SDK.

This role is ideal for a fresher or early-career developer who has a strong foundation in JavaScript and ReactJS and is eager to learn SDK development, real-time communication technologies, and system-level concepts. Onsite from Surat.

Qualifications

• Strong JavaScript fundamentals with a good grasp of TypeScript and ReactJS.
• Experience or exposure to building and maintaining SDKs or libraries is a plus.
• Familiar with HTML, CSS, and basic browser APIs, plus Git version control.
• Fresh graduates or 0–1 year of experience, eager to learn SDK development.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve JavaScript SDKs for VideoSDK products.
• Write clean, scalable TypeScript code and contribute to feature development.
• Build UI features with ReactJS where required and fix SDK issues.
• Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure quality.
• Collaborate with backend and frontend teams and learn real-time concepts like WebRTC.

We are looking for a Software Developer who is passionate about JavaScript development and wants to build and maintain high-quality SDKs used by developers worldwide.

Role Overview

As a Software Developer, you will work primarily on our JavaScript SDK, contributing to the development of new features, improvements, bug fixes, testing, and debugging.

This role is ideal for a fresher or early-career developer who has a strong foundation in JavaScript and ReactJS and is eager to learn SDK development, real-time communication technologies, and system-level concepts.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve JavaScript SDKs.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable JavaScript/TypeScript code.
• Build and enhance features using ReactJS where required.
• Debug and troubleshoot SDK-related issues.
• Understand existing codebases and contribute to feature development.
• Write unit tests and ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with backend, frontend, and other engineering teams.
• Participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices.
• Investigate technical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Learn and work with real-time communication concepts such as WebRTC, WebSocket, and real-time media.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals.
• Good hands-on knowledge of ReactJS.

• BE/BTech in Computer Science or Information Technology only.
