Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/CE or related technical field.
• 1–3 years of software/solutions engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of web technologies and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to gather technical requirements and deployment needs.
• Build, customize, and implement solutions using VideoSDK APIs and SDKs.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide hands-on support during integration.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to improve integrations and CX.
• Create technical documentation and implementation guides.
• Monitor deployments for performance and scalability.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to work closely with customers and internal engineering teams to deliver seamless real-time communication solutions using VideoSDK. This role requires a strong technical foundation, problem-solving mindset, and customer-facing communication skills to help clients successfully integrate and optimize our platform.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to understand technical requirements and deployment needs.
• Build, customize, and implement solutions using VideoSDK APIs and SDKs.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide hands-on support during implementation.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to improve integrations and customer experience.
• Create technical documentation, proofs of concept, and implementation guides.
• Monitor deployments and ensure optimal performance and scalability.

Requirements

• 1 - 3 years of experience in Software Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or similar roles.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, ReactJS, APIs, WebRTC, WebSocket, and system design fundamentals.
• Experience with debugging, integration, and customer-facing technical discussions.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms, databases, and networking concepts.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.

Good To Have

• Experience with Node.JS, Next.js, Docker, Kubernetes, or real-time communication platforms.
• Exposure to CPaaS, developer tools, or SaaS products.
