Job summary

Keka Technologies Private Limited is seeking a PLC Programmer with strong experience in wastewater or water treatment automation systems to design, develop, and maintain PLC/SCADA solutions for WWTP/STP processes in Hyderabad.

You will configure SCADA/HMI, integrate field instruments, troubleshoot PLC/SCADA issues, and ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards while maintaining proper documentation and version control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering.
• Experience designing PLC programs for WWTP/STP environments.
• Knowledge of ladder logic, function block, and structured text.

Responsibilities

• Design PLC programs for WWTP/STP plants.
• Configure and maintain SCADA/HMI systems for plant monitoring and control.
• Integrate field instruments with PLC systems (flow, level, pressure, pH, DO).
• Troubleshoot PLC, SCADA, and instrumentation issues.
• Interpret P&ID diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Maintain documentation and version control of PLC programs.

Job description

PLC Programmer with strong experience in wastewater or water treatment automation systems (WWTP/STP). The role involves developing and maintaining PLC/SCADA systems used for monitoring and controlling treatment processes such as pumping, filtration, aeration, and chemical dosing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop PLC programs for wastewater treatment plants (WWTP/STP)
• Configure and maintain SCADA/HMI systems for plant monitoring and control
• Work on automation of key processes:
  • Pumping stations
  • Aeration systems
  • Clarifiers and filtration units
• Integrate field instruments (flow, level, pressure, pH, DO sensors) with PLC systems
• Troubleshoot PLC, SCADA, and instrumentation issues
• Interpret P&ID diagrams, electrical schematics, and control narratives
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of PLC programs
