Job summary

Capgemini in Hyderabad, India, is seeking an experienced GK POS L3/L4 production support professional with 5+ years in Retail/QSR POS systems and store operations. The role requires strong GK POS expertise, POS integrations knowledge, and a proven production support background.

You will handle incident management, RCA, release and defect triage, and coordinate with cross-functional teams including ERP/OMS providers and payment gateways. Excellent stakeholder communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Retail/QSR POS systems and store operations.
• Strong GK POS technical and functional expertise.
• Experience in L3 Production Support and client-facing roles.
• Knowledge of POS integrations including ERP, OMS, payment gateway and eCommerce platforms.
• Strong production support background including: Incident Management, Major Incident Handling, RCA, Problem Management, Release and Defect Triage.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues through log analysis and system diagnostics.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide L3/L4 GK POS production support for deployments and live environments.
• Lead incident management, coordinate RCA and drive containment and resolution.
• Coordinate with business teams, vendors, architects, and engineering teams.
• Ensure SLA adherence and communicate incident status to stakeholders at all levels.
• Participate in monitoring/observability efforts to improve reliability.

Your Role

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Retail/QSR POS systems and store operations.
• Strong experience with GK POS / GK Retail Store Commerce (highly preferred).
• Proven track record of experience in L3 Production Support
• Experience working in client-facing.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong GK POS technical and functional expertise.
• Deep understanding of POS architecture, transaction processing, payments, returns, promotions, receipts, and recovery workflows.
• Experience in understanding POS integrations including ERP, OMS, payment gateway and eCommerce platforms.
• Strong production support background including:

  • Major Incident Handling
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

  • Release and Defect Triage
• Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues through log analysis and system diagnostics.

• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and functional architecture.
