Job Description Summary As Senior Software Engineer for Enterprise Archive Product, you will be responsible for contributing to end-to-end software development and testing for the Enterprise Imaging product. Responsible for programming a component, feature, and testing. Works independently and contributes to the immediate team and other teams across the business. You will also contribute to design discussions.

Job Description

In this role, you will:

• Represent Enterprise Archive Software Design team.
• Lead the development and flow-down of system requirements, architecture, and system-level design.
• Conduct risk assessments, cybersecurity evaluations, integration and testing strategies, and provide support for manufacturing, field operations, and customer service—including corrective and preventive actions to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to product strategy by influencing architectural decisions and designing robust solutions to address complex customer challenges.
• Write code that meets standards and delivers the desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.
• Build features for the Windows Platform and enable integration with other GE HealthCare Systems.
• Manage high-priority customer escalations, acting as the primary technical point of contact.
• Analyze and resolve critical software issues, delivering timely and effective workarounds to minimize customer impact.
• Independently debug and troubleshoot complex software problems using advanced tools such as WinDbg, Visual Studio crash dump, Event Viewer, and performance profilers.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to identify root causes and drive long-term, sustainable fixes.
• Provide hands-on support to early adopter customers, ensuring smooth onboarding, rapid issue resolution, and a positive user experience.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
• Minimum of 9 years of professional experience with Microsoft C#.Net/WCF.
• Sound knowledge of OO Analysis & Design, SQL Databases.
• Strong debugging and unit testing skills using a well-known and accepted unit testing framework.
• Hands‑on experience in web technologies like ASP.Net and web servers such as IIS.
• Experience with front‑end technologies such as Javascript, HTML5, CSS, AngularJS.
• Strong knowledge of unit testing using tools such as NUnit and MSTest.
• Good hands‑on knowledge on Cloud Technology AWS or Azure.
• Understanding of code versioning tools and CI/CT/CD processes.

Desired Characteristics

• Expertise in the design and development of cloud solutions.
• Strong Programming Skills in .NET & Web technologies like C#, Angular, HTML.
• In‑depth knowledge and hands‑on experience with popular test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, RoboFramework).
• Strong debugging and unit testing skills using a well‑known and accepted unit testing framework.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools and CI/CT/CD processes.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, communicates clearly and succinctly, and effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions.
• Experience with UAT and Production implementation & support.
• Test Design (Create/Review Test Procedures, Create/Review Test Conditions, Identify/Create Test Data).
• Test Execution (Execute Test Procedures, Create/Triage Bugs, Status Reporting, Provide Requirements Traceability).
• Experience with Healthcare or Medical Imaging is a PLUS.
