Job summary

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions in Bengaluru, India is hiring a Software Engineer to ensure on-time delivery of applications within their area. You will work on developing new web apps and maintaining existing ones, collaborating with ERP and IT teams to implement changes.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of hands-on ASP.NET/.NET experience, strong MySQL and frontend skills, and familiarity with RESTful APIs. Join a global, inclusive tech team delivering quality solutions on schedule.

Qualifications

• 3 years of hands-on experience in ASP.NET and .NET application development.
• Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
• Experience in developing and maintaining web applications.
• Good knowledge of MySQL database design, writing queries, and optimization.
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and client-server architecture.
• Familiarity with debugging, testing, and performance optimization. Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and analyze relevant processes in one's own area of responsibility.
• Consolidate requirements in related areas of responsibility, support prioritization and increase response time to business needs.
• Identify opportunities to simplify applications with a view to removing complexity and improving productivity.
• Work closely with Process Engineers and Subject Matter Experts from businesses across TSS to understand the application requirements.
• Participate in feasibility studies (change requests) for system enhancements.
• Work closely with ERP Competency Center, Project Teams, IT Project Management Office to coordinate/support technical implementation.
• Developing new web applications as per the business needs.
• Maintain the existing applications and handle change requests.
• Document functionality, create application manuals.
