Job summary

BajriX, a fast-growing marketplace for construction and real estate materials in India, invites talented students for a Software Development Intern role. You will work directly with the founders and engineering team on real features used by customers, contributing to frontend and backend tasks in a startup setting.

You'll gain exposure to real-world software development practices, code reviews, and mentorship, with monthly stipend and potential future opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing B.Tech, B.E., BCA, MCA, or equivalent degree.
• Preferred: 2nd Year, 3rd Year, or Final Year students.
• You may be a great fit if you enjoy building products and solving problems.
• You have built personal, academic, or freelance projects.

Responsibilities

• Improving mobile responsiveness across the platform.
• Building reusable and maintainable UI components.
• Integrating frontend screens with backend REST APIs.
• Developing and enhancing backend APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Writing and optimizing SQL queries and working with PostgreSQL.
• Fixing bugs and improving application performance.
• Participating in feature discussions, code reviews, and product planning.
• Testing and validating implemented features.
• Collaborating with developers to ship production-ready code.

As an intern, you will work directly with the founders and engineering team on real features used by actual customers.

What You’ll Work On

As a Software Development Intern, you will contribute to the development of BajriX’s web platform and help improve the experience for buyers and sellers.

Your responsibilities may include:
