Job summary

Amadeus in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer 4 (.NET) to join a global application development team. You will design, implement, and deliver scalable Microsoft technologies, REST APIs, and services while collaborating with cross-functional teams across QA, Product Management, and DevOps.

You should bring 8–12 years of experience developing modern web applications with C#, .NET Core/MVC, Web API, and Angular, plus cloud and container familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/IT or related field.
• 8–12 years of experience building modern web apps using Microsoft technologies (C#, .NET Core / MVC, Web API, SQL Server, Angular).
• Experience designing REST APIs and backend services with solid engineering principles and design patterns.
• Frontend development experience with Angular or similar frameworks and state management.
• Cloud proficiency with Azure or AWS and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of distributed systems, caching, messaging, and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and SQL Server database design.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Strong analytical and debugging abilities and team-oriented communication.

• Typically brings 8-12 years of experience developing modern web applications using Microsoft technologies (C#, .NET Core / MVC, Web API, SQL Server, Angular).
• Experience designing and building REST APIs and backend services based on solid engineering principles and design patterns.
• Familiarity with frontend development using Angular or similar frameworks, including component design and state management.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS) and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Understanding of distributed systems, caching, messaging, and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and database design using SQL Server.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Splunk, or Kibana is a plus.
• Strong analytical and debugging abilities with a focus on clear, structured problem-solving.
