1127 Amadeus Software Labs India Private Limited is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer 4 to own full modules and drive design decisions for scalable, high-performing applications.

You will develop REST APIs and backend services, work with distributed teams, and contribute to architecture using C#, .NET Core/ MVC, Web API, SQL Server, and Angular, with exposure to Azure/AWS and CI/CD practices.

Job Title Software Development Engineer 4 Description: With strong experience in software development and solid application of engineering practices across the software development life cycle, the Senior Software Developer acts as a key individual contributor, owning modules and contributing to design decisions while solving moderately complex technical challenges. We’re looking for an energetic and driven individual who has a passion for technology and building scalable and reliable applications. Having a good understanding of system design and exposure to distributed systems is important. You’ll be designing, developing, and enhancing software components that contribute to a high-performing platform.

Nature of Work

• You will contribute as a key member in development and enhancement of the application portfolio
• You will work with distributed teams to deliver features and improve system performance
• You will be responsible for design and development of modules/components with guidance from architects (where applicable)
• Model, design and implement applications (web apps, APIs, services)

Participate in Engineering Activities by

• Designing technical solutions for modules and contributing to feasibility discussions
• Evaluating tools and frameworks within team scope
• Writing high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code
• Ensuring application stability, performance, and adherence to engineering best practices

Collaborate across teams by

• Working closely with cross-functional teams (QA, Product, DevOps)
• Participating in design reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions
• Contributing to reusable components and shared modules
• Taking end-to-end ownership of assigned features/modules

Education & Experience

University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent 8-12 years of experience in software development with strong hands-on coding

Technical Skills Core Experience

• 8-12 years of experience delivering robust web applications using Microsoft tech stack
• Technologies: C#, .NET Core / .NET MVC, Web API, SQL Server, Angular
• Strong experience building REST APIs and backend services
• Good understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns
• Ability to handle complex business logic and dependencies

Frontend Development

• Hands-on experience with Angular (preferred)
• Understanding of component design, state management, and performance optimization

Cloud & DevOps

• Working experience with Azure / AWS
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices
• Basic understanding of monitoring and logging tools

System & Architecture Understanding

Good understanding of: Distributed systems concepts (basic level) Caching, messaging, and API design Microservices architecture (working exposure) Ability to contribute to design discussions and propose improvements

Additional Technical Skills

• Strong problem-solving skills and debugging ability
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Experience with SQL Server and database design
• Familiarity with JSON/XML and API contracts

Nice to Have (Optional)

• Exposure to Docker / Kubernetes
• Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, Kibana)
• Exposure to monolith to microservices migration (contributor role)
