Finastra in Pune, India is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software product applications. This role reports to the Senior Engineering Manager and is based in Pune with possible hybrid arrangements.

The candidate should have 3+ years of hands-on experience with Core Java, JavaScript, Angular 2, RESTful APIs, and web technologies, plus familiarity with Azure PaaS and SQL.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience including design and development.
• Experience with Core Java, JavaScript, Angular 2, RESTful APIs, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
• Payments industry experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements.
• Designs and develops high-quality code.
• Tests, debugs, analyzes and fixes application problems/issues.
• Works closely with stakeholders to fix issues in a timely fashion.
• Follows the software development lifecycle process.
• Interacts with internal stakeholders to support product releases and/or resolve program problems.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
