Job summary

Finastra in Pune is seeking a Functional Quality Engineer to design and execute product test plans, ensuring software quality and alignment with design specs. You will support the Development team with process improvements to enhance product quality.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience in BFS/GPP Payments, strong SQL and Unix basics, and familiarity with testing in banking domains. This role offers hybrid/onsite working options and exposure to global financial software solutions.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Post Graduate from a reputed university/college.
• Experience: 3+ years, with at least 2 year in BFS/GPP Payments domain.
• Excellent testing experience in banking domain with SQL and Unix basics.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand requirement & solution documents.
• Prepare & Review Test cases, Test scenarios.
• Test Execution, Defect reporting, Defect Analysis & Tracking till closure.
• Simulation & Triage of issues raised by customers.
• Addresses functional queries from various stakeholders.
• Acquires and maintains knowledge of existing products, operations or systems.
• Follow testing plan/schedule & adhere to quality processes
