Job summary

You will maintain comprehensive records of software licenses, usage, and status, oversee the full procurement lifecycle, onboard vendors, and support audits. Strong analytical and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain software asset & inventory records and license types.
• Oversee the procurement-to-pay (P2P) cycle from PR to payment.
• Coordinate with vendors, research cost-saving opportunities and manage OEM/partner relationships.
• Draft terms, renewals, and negotiate IT services and cloud contracts.
• Develop and forecast IT budgets; analyze spend vs budgets and report variances.
• Ensure licensing compliance and support internal/external audits.

What we are looking for in a candidate:

We are seeking a dedicated professional with 3-4 years ( in IT procurement or software asset management) of experience to join our team. In this role, person will be responsible for the end-to-end management of software assets, the procurement-to-pay cycle, vendor coordination, and contract management.

Key Responsibilities:

Software Asset & Inventory Management: Maintain comprehensive records of

software inventory, license types, usage, and status. Ensure hardware and software asset records are accurate and up to date.

• Procurement-to-Pay (P2P) Cycle: Manage the full procurement lifecycle, including PR creation, PO issuance, invoice verification, and payment follow-ups.

• Vendor Coordination: Onboard new vendors, conduct market research for cost- saving opportunities, and maintain strong professional relationships with OEMs and partners.

• Contract Management: Draft terms and conditions, handle renewals, and manage contract negotiations for IT services and cloud solutions.
• Financial & Analytical Reporting: Develop, track, and forecast IT budgets. Perform cost analysis and report on spend variances against budgets.
• Compliance & Audit Support: Ensure adherence to software licensing models and provide necessary documentation for internal and external audits.

Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software licensing models, cloud technologies

Tools: Proficiency in financial management and ERP tools (experience with Oracle preferred).

Analytical Abilities: Proficient in market analysis, budgeting, and identifying cost-saving trends.

Communication: Excellent negotiation and coordination skills for managing vendor relationships and internal stakeholder requirements.
