Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Software Asset & Inventory Management: Maintain comprehensive records of software inventory, license types, usage, and status. Ensure hardware and software asset records are accurate and up to date.
• Procurement-to-Pay (P2P) Cycle: Manage the full procurement lifecycle, including PR creation, PO issuance, invoice verification, and payment follow-ups.
• Vendor Coordination: Onboard new vendors, conduct market research for cost-saving opportunities, and maintain strong professional relationships with OEMs and partners.
• Contract Management: Draft terms and conditions, handle renewals, and manage contract negotiations for IT services and cloud solutions.
• Financial & Analytical Reporting: Develop, track, and forecast IT budgets. Perform cost analysis and report on spend variances against budgets.
• Compliance & Audit Support: Ensure adherence to software licensing models and provide necessary documentation for internal and external audits.
• Experience: 3-4 years of relevant experience in IT procurement or software asset management.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software licensing models, cloud technologies.
• Tools: Proficiency in financial management and ERP tools (experience with Oracle preferred).
• Analytical Abilities: Proficient in market analysis, budgeting, and identifying cost-saving trends.
• Communication: Excellent negotiation and coordination skills for managing vendor relationships and internal stakeholder requirements.
