Job summary

M&G India is seeking a Software Asset Management specialist to maintain software entitlement, deployment data, and licence compliance. The role covers renewals, data analysis, true-ups, stakeholder queries, and cost-optimisation opportunities, with clear reporting and governance in a diverse, inclusive environment.

You will collaborate with Procurement and Technology teams, support audits, and drive continuous SAM improvement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain software entitlement, deployment and usage data to support an accurate view of M&G’s software estate.
• Support licence compliance through reconciliation, exception analysis and risk identification.
• Identify optimisation opportunities through usage analysis, re-harvesting, licence rationalisation and cost avoidance.
• Support renewals, audits and true-ups by preparing data, analysis and reports.
• Respond to stakeholder queries and provide timely SAM reporting, insights and operational support.
• Support consistent application of SAM processes, controls and governance.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Technology and suppliers on SAM activities and issue resolution.
• Manage SAM tickets in line with agreed service expectations.
• Support continuous improvement of SAM practices, documentation and ways of working.
