Roles and Responsibilities
Through understanding and knowledge of software asset management and its Lifecycle process.
Good Knowledge and understanding of various Software products and their licensing guidelines. E.g. Adobe , Microsoft , IBM, Sam Pro ,Flexera etc
Data analysis, particularly working with Microsoft Excel to analyse software data that can be used to drive key business decisions
Good Communication skills required since will be interacting with people/teams across geographies
Experience with Asset management tools , like SCCM , JAMF ,SNOW etc.
Will need to work on Service Desk Requests and in shift timings as per business needs. Working knowledge on Service Now tool is required .
Actively assesses risk and cost take out opportunities and makes recommendations to Software Owners and Software Asset Management leadership to optimize the software asset portfolio.
Work closely with subject matter experts, including system architects, system administrators, project and program managers, financial managers, and engineers to obtain critical information required for the management of software.
