Responsibilities

• Build and grow a healthy team through talent management, diversity and inclusion, coaching, and career development.
• Act as a respected technology leader with the ability to attract, retain, and develop the most technical resources in the field.
• Inspire and foster a culture of customer‑centricity and consumption, adoption and use through collaboration with peers and extended teams.
• Lead a technical design team of architects, ensuring the team works effectively and on schedule, completing products from design through implementation. This typically includes the professional development of team members.
• Empower the team to accelerate Data Estate Modernization, win with Analytics, and innovate with AI, including guidance on architectural design, technical recommendations, blocker escalations, and technical resource orchestration.
• Engage with the area’s most strategic customers as executive sponsor to accelerate the digital transformation journey and create a data‑driven and intelligent‑driven organization.
• Be a vocal leader and customer champion with both local and corporate leadership to elevate emerging technology adoption issues and accelerate resolution.
• Lead the team to utilize the “Well‑Architected” framework, ensuring high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability.
• Drive operational excellence, including timely consumption opportunity management and high‑quality reporting and insights.
• Inspire the team to win developer affinity to the cloud platform through technical intensity.
• Exceed customer support obligations as needed.
• In addition to managing and designing building plans, a Senior Architect may also participate in preparing bids and developing new and existing client relationships and advising on technical solutions, estimates and feasibilities.
