Job summary

NIIT Foundation invites applications for a Trainer who will plan and deliver virtual soft skills training, adapt delivery styles, and develop customized session plans to meet learners' needs.

The role includes monitoring attendance, conducting assessments, providing counselling and placement support, and preparing regular progress reports to support program goals.

You will collaborate with program managers and community mobilizers to ensure enrolment and impact, staying updated on industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Training Delivery: plan and conduct virtual soft skills training sessions according to approved schedules and session plans.
• Content Development: customize session plans and training materials for the target audience.
• Student Engagement: monitor attendance and participation in virtual sessions; provide one-on-one counselling.
• Student Assessment: develop and administer assessments to measure learning outcomes; provide feedback.
• Documentation & Reporting: maintain progress reports and update training activities in MIS.
• Placement Support: assist students in interview preparation and resume-building.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: coordinate with program managers and community mobilizers to align training with project goals.

Job Description

KeyResponsibility Areas (KRA) for Trainer

• Training Delivery
  
• Plan and conduct virtual soft skills training sessions accordingto pre-approved schedules and session plans.
  
• Use interactive and engaging methods to ensure high levels ofstudent participation and retention.
  
• Adapt delivery styles to suit virtual environments and the diverseneeds of students.
  
• Minimising slippages and leakages of training program
  
• Content Development
  
• Customize session plans and training materials based on the targetaudience's specific needs.
  
• Incorporate multimedia tools, presentations, and real-worldexamples to enhance the learning experience.
  
• Student Engagement
  
• Monitor and encourage attendance and participation in virtualsessions.
  
• Provide one-on-one counselling and support to students, guidingthem on personal and professional development goals.
  
• Minimising Drop-outs and daily follow up to students
  
• Student Assessment
  
• Develop and administer assessments to measure students'understanding of soft skills concepts. Ensuring Maximum students arepassedin “ Excellent Category “
  
• Provide constructive feedback to students to aid their personaland professional growth.
  
• Documentation & Reporting
  
• Maintain detailed progress reports on student performance andattendance.
  
• Ensure timely updates of training activities in the internal MISsystem.
  
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on training outcomesand key metrics.
  
• Placement Support
  
• Assist students in preparing for interviews by conducting mocksessions and resume-building workshops.
  
• Provide support in identifying and bridging skill gaps related toemployability.
  
• Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions andupdate methodologies accordingly.
  
• Stay updated on industry trends to integrate new techniques andtools in soft skills training.

• Support mobilization activities virtually to ensure enrolment ofsuitable candidates.
