Job summary

The Urban Chief is a funnel-first performance marketing agency in Vadodara seeking a Social Media Marketing Executive to manage client accounts from planning to publishing, engagement, and performance tracking.

Ideal candidates have 4-5 years in social media marketing, strong content judgement, and excellent coordination with designers, editors, and clients. This is a strict on-site role based in Vadodara.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience in social media marketing or digital marketing.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, reels and content formats.

Responsibilities

• Manage social media accounts for multiple client brands.
• Plan monthly content themes and social media calendars.
• Create content ideas for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other relevant platforms.
• Write and review captions, hooks, carousel content, reel ideas, and creative copy.
• Coordinate with designers and video editors for static posts, carousels, reels, and videos.
• Get content reviewed internally and manage client feedback.
• Schedule and publish approved content as per the calendar.
• Ensure posts are planned and scheduled in advance, not at the last minute.
• Check every live post for caption, tags, links, formatting, mentions, and overall hygiene.
• Manage reposting, comments, engagement activities, and basic community interaction.
• Track weekly and monthly account performance.
• Analyse what worked, what did not work, and suggest improvements.
• Maintain trackers, reports, content calendars, and task updates.

We are looking for an experienced Social Media Marketing Executive who can independently manage client accounts from planning to publishing, engagement, and performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage social media accounts for multiple client brands.
• Understand each client's business, audience, goals, ICP, competitors, and target location.
• Plan monthly content themes and social media calendars.
• Create content ideas for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other relevant platforms.
• Write and review captions, hooks, carousel content, reel ideas, and creative copy.
• Coordinate with designers and video editors for static posts, carousels, reels, and videos.
• Get content reviewed internally and manage client feedback.

What We're Looking For

• Ability to think from both a content and business-growth perspective.
• Good writing, captioning, and content judgment.
• Experience handling multiple brands or client accounts.
• Strong coordination skills with designers, editors, clients, and internal teams.
• Good understanding of engagement, posting hygiene, scheduling, and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail, ownership, and deadline management.
• Basic understanding of analytics, reach, engagement, followers, and performance reports.
