Job summary

EasyTax in Jaipur seeks a Social Media Manager to own all channels, craft engaging content, and grow a vibrant fintech community. You’ll write witty captions, plan monthly calendars, and collaborate with CA/video teams to produce short-form videos.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience, excellent English and Hinglish copy, and a passion for personal finance and disruptive fintech storytelling. On-site role with no remote option.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of proven social media management experience for a B2C/B2B brand, fintech preferred.
• Strong copywriting in English and Hinglish; ability to craft viral content.
• Familiarity with social media tools and platform analytics.
• Ability to spot trends quickly and translate into brand-safe memes.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end management of EasyTax social channels: Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, YouTube Shorts.
• Develop and execute monthly content calendars balancing educational tax tips, meme marketing, breaking government tax notifications, and customer success stories.
• Script and storyboard high-performing short-form video content with in-house CA and video creators.
• Write sharp captions, carousel copy, and thought-leadership posts to establish EasyTax as India's premier tax authority.
• Engage with followers, respond to comments, monitor brand mentions, and participate in trending tax conversations across platforms.
• Collaborate with the Graphic Designer to align creative assets with campaign objectives and brand aesthetics.
• Track metrics (reach, impressions, engagement, profile visits, follower growth) and generate weekly insights.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an energetic, creative, and data-backed Social Media Manager / Specialist with 1 to 2 years of experience who lives and breathes social media trends. Taxation in India is often perceived as boring and intimidating — your mission is to change that narrative! You will craft relatable, witty, and educational content that demystifies ITR filing, GST hacks, and startup laws for millennials, freelancers, and business owners. If you know how the Instagram Reels algorithm works, how to write viral LinkedIn hooks, and how to build an active community of loyal followers, you'll thrive here.

What will you be doing?

• Own end-to-end management of EasyTax social media channels: Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
• Develop and execute monthly content calendars balancing educational tax tips, meme marketing, breaking government tax notifications, and customer success stories.
• Script and storyboard high-performing short-form video content (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) in collaboration with in-house Chartered Accountants and video creators.
• Write sharp, engaging captions, carousel copy, and thought-leadership posts on LinkedIn and Twitter that establish EasyTax as India's premier tax authority.
• Actively engage with followers, respond to comments, monitor brand mentions, and participate in trending tax & finance conversations across Twitter and Reddit.
• Collaborate with the Graphic Designer to ensure all creative assets align with campaign objectives and brand aesthetics.
• Track key social metrics (reach, impressions, engagement rate, profile visits, follower growth) and generate weekly performance insights to iterate on winning formats.
• Identify and collaborate with finance creators, micro-influencers, and CAs for brand shoutouts and collaborative webinars.

What are we expecting?

• 1 to 2 years of proven experience managing and scaling social media handles for a B2C/B2B brand, digital agency, or fintech startup.
• Demonstrated track record of growing follower counts and driving high organic engagement (share links to handles you managed or viral posts you created).
• Exceptional copywriting and storytelling skills in both English and conversational Hindi (Hinglish).
• Deep familiarity with social media management tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, Later) and platform analytics.
• Ability to spot cultural and finance trends quickly and translate them into prompt, brand-safe meme marketing.
• Strong on-camera confidence or experience directing and editing short videos (CapCut, VN, Premiere Pro) is an added advantage.
• Passion for personal finance, startup culture, and fintech disruption.
