Job summary

Known Technologies (MR KNOWN) is seeking two video editors to manage end-to-end editing for YouTube reviews, tech explainers, and Shorts. You will craft engaging narratives, integrate B-roll, graphics, and pacing to enhance viewer retention, while coordinating with the creator to maintain brand style.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience, strong Premiere Pro skills, and the ability to work hybrid from Thane, Maharashtra. Open to flexible responsibilities and growth in a growing tech channel.

Qualifications

• Experience editing long-form YouTube videos.
• Proficient in Premiere Pro with strong B-roll pacing.
• Ability to handle revisions and feedback.
• Familiarity with Hindi/Hinglish narration.

Responsibilities

• Edit complete YouTube long-form videos, including product reviews, comparisons, buying guides, and technology explainers.
• Edit engaging YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and vertical videos.
• Select, organize, and edit relevant product B-roll footage to match the narration.
• Source appropriate product images, stock footage, screenshots, and other supporting visuals while following copyright and licensing requirements.
• Create clean product specification graphics, comparison tables, text animations, and callouts.
• Add smooth transitions, zoom effects, motion graphics, sound effects, and background music wherever required.
• Maintain accurate synchronization between voiceovers, product visuals, graphics, and on-screen information.
• Perform basic color correction, audio enhancement, and sound balancing.
• Edit videos with strong pacing, viewer retention, and clear visual storytelling.
• Research product visuals and reference material to improve overall editing quality.
• Handle revisions and incorporate feedback efficiently.
• Organize raw footage, project files, B-roll assets, and completed exports.
• Independently manage assigned editing projects from raw footage to final delivery.
• Coordinate with the content creator to maintain consistent editing quality and brand style.

We are looking for two creative, skilled, and detail-oriented Video Editors who can independently manage the complete editing process for our YouTube videos and Shorts.

Required Skills

• Strong practical knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Good understanding of B-roll editing, pacing, storytelling, and visual synchronization.
• Experience editing talking-head YouTube videos or similar long-form content.
• Ability to create professional text animations, product callouts, and comparison graphics.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects or similar motion graphics software.
• Familiarity with Photoshop or Canva for supporting graphics.
• Understanding of audio cleanup, color correction, and video export settings.
• Ability to independently source and organize relevant visuals.
• Good research skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to understand Hindi/Hinglish narration and edit accordingly.
• Good time management and ability to meet production deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Previous experience editing YouTube videos for technology, gadgets, electronics, or product review channels.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating long-form videos and Shorts.
• Creative understanding of viewer retention and YouTube editing styles.
• Comfortable working with multiple product categories and technical specifications.
• Able to suggest visual improvements rather than relying entirely on step-by-step instructions.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and willing to learn new editing techniques.
