Job summary

Rusk Media is seeking a creative and organized Social Media Intern to own our social presence. You will drive content creation from brainstorming viral ideas to writing compelling hooks and scheduling posts across platforms.

You will blend storytelling with scheduling discipline, analyze engagement, and help grow the audience base. This role offers hands-on experience with trending formats and a fast-paced content machine.

Qualifications

• Creative storyteller with ability to brainstorm viral ideas.
• Organized and able to schedule posts and manage calendars.
• Strong hooks and captions for social platforms.

Responsibilities

• Content Creation & Ideation: brainstorm, conceptualize, and produce engaging short-form video content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts).
• Copywriting: craft captions, hooks, and platform-specific copy that drives engagement.
• Trend Research: monitor internet culture, trends, viral audio, and competitor strategies.
• Scheduling & Publishing: manage social media calendar and deploy posts across platforms.
• Community Management: monitor comments/DMs and foster a vibrant community.
• Basic Reporting: track metrics and share weekly updates on performance.
