Job summary

Gintaa, Kolkata-based food tech company, is seeking a mid-level content and social media lead. You will craft captions, posts, and scripts, develop monthly calendars, and tailor content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube.

You will collaborate with designers, photographers, and the tech team to translate product updates into engaging content. Strong English writing is essential; Hindi/Hinglish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Write captions, posts, reels scripts, and short-form marketing content.
• Develop monthly social content calendars aligned with brand goals.

• Coordinate with designers, photographers, video teams, and tech for high-performing content.
• Document product updates and workflows for internal/external communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Write compelling captions, posts, reels scripts, carousels, stories, campaign copy, and short-form marketing content.
• Develop monthly social media content calendars aligned with brand goals and campaigns.
• Adapt tone, style, and messaging for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube.
• Coordinate with designers, photographers, video teams, and the tech team to turn ideas and product updates into high-performing content.
• Work closely with the tech team to understand product features, releases, and workflows, and document processes clearly for internal and external communication.
• Create simple, engaging content around product updates, technical processes, user journeys, and how-to guides.
• Research trends, competitor activity, hashtags, and audience preferences.
• Ensure all content is accurate, on-brand, grammatically correct, and engaging.
• Assist with community management by responding to comments and messages where required.
• Track post performance and share insights to improve future content.
• Support product launches, promotions, seasonal campaigns, and influencer collaborations.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in social media management, copywriting, or content creation.
• Excellent written English; strong Hindi/Hinglish writing is an added advantage.
• Ability to simplify technical or process-related information into clear, engaging social content.
• Good understanding of social media trends, formats, algorithms, and best practices.
• Experience creating content calendars and managing multiple campaigns.
• Familiarity with Canva, Meta Business Suite, and basic analytics tools is preferred.
• Strong research skills, creativity, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
