Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Manager with 25-years of experience to manage and enhance our digital presence in the aviation sector. The ideal candidate will be passionate about travel and aviation, capable of creating engaging content, and skilled in building a strong online community while maintaining brand reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies tailored to the aviation and travel audience
• Manage daily social media operations across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube
• Create engaging content including posts, reels, stories, and aviation-related campaigns
• Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, operations, customer support) for timely updates (flight announcements, offers, disruptions, etc.)
• Monitor and respond to customer queries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally
• Track social media trends, especially within the aviation and travel industry
• Plan and execute paid campaigns to drive brand awareness, bookings, and engagement
• Analyze performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversions) and prepare regular reports
• Handle crisis communication and reputation management during delays, cancellations, or service issues

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in social media management (preferably in travel, hospitality, or aviation)
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and trends
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle customer interactions with professionalism and empathy
• Experience with tools such as Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar
• Basic knowledge of paid advertising (Facebook/Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads)
• Analytical mindset with experience in performance tracking tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage real-time updates
