Job summary

8 Quadrant is seeking a creative Social Media & Content Creator to develop, shoot and edit fashion-focused content. You will independently produce Reels, photos and videos, handle editing, transitions, music, storytelling and on-camera modelling when required.

You should be able to conceptualise and execute end-to-end content and build an organic brand presence across Instagram, with a strong eye for fashion trends and aesthetics.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to shoot and edit a complete piece of content without external help.
• Strong understanding of current Instagram Reel trends and formats.
• Experience with fashion, clothing, beauty or lifestyle brands preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative Reel concepts for a fashion brand.
• Shoot high-quality fashion photos and videos.
• Create and edit Instagram Reels independently.

WE’RE HIRING | SOCIAL MEDIA & CONTENT CREATOR

For a Fashion & Clothing Brand

We’re looking for a creative, hands-on Social Media & Content Creator who understands fashion, knows what makes people stop scrolling, and can independently turn ideas into high-quality, engaging & viral Reels.

This is not a role where you simply manage a social media account we’re looking for someone who can create the content themselves from start to finish

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Develop creative & trending Reel concepts for a fashion brand
• Shoot high-quality fashion photos & videos
• Create and edit Instagram Reels independently
• Handle video editing, transitions, effects, music & storytelling
• Be comfortable appearing on camera / modelling for content when required
• Create fashion-focused photoshoots and social media content
• Identify trending sounds, formats, hooks and content stylesPlan and execute a consistent Instagram content calendar
• Create content that is engaging, aesthetic, relatable and shareable
• Shoot content using a phone/camera and manage the complete production process

WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO

• Has a strong understanding of Instagram & current Reel trends
• Can independently shoot and edit content
• Has a good eye for fashion, styling, framing, lighting & aesthetics
• Is confident in front of the camera
• Can work independently without needing a separate photographer, videographer or editor for every piece of content
• Is creative, energetic and willing to experiment
• Understands how to create content that can potentially go viral and build a brand organically
• Has experience working with fashion, clothing, beauty or lifestyle brands preferred but not mandatory

IMPORTANT

You should be able to handle the complete content creation process yourself.
