Absolute Science in India is seeking a Social Media Associate to articulate our metabolic health voice across Instagram, YouTube and more. This role requires writing warm, precise captions and staying evidence-led, not chasing virality.

You will collaborate with performance marketing, script short-form videos, manage the content calendar, and ensure content aligns with brand guidelines while driving educational health content for Indian audiences.

What This Role Is

We are looking for a Social Media Associate who understands that content about health is not the same as content about lifestyle. You will be responsible for bringing Absolute Sciences voice to life across Instagram, YouTube and other platforms — with the same calm, evidence-led credibility that our doctors bring to every patient conversation. This is not a role for someone who wants to make viral reels about green juice. It is a role for someone who finds metabolic health genuinely interesting, who can write a caption that is both warm and precise, and who cares deeply about saying the right thing to the right person at the right moment. We are looking for someone who believes in what we are building — and wants to help more Indians understand their own biology

What You Will Do

• Plan, create and publish content across Instagram and other platforms in line with the Absolute Science brand voice.
• Write copy for static ads, reels, stories and captions that translate clinical concepts into language real people connect with.
• Work closely with the performance marketing team to align organic content with paid campaigns.
• Assist in producing short-form video content — scripting, directing on shoot days, and basic editing.
• Track content performance and share weekly observations on what is working and why.
• Stay current on social media trends, platform changes and what competitors are doing — and know when to follow a trend and when to ignore it.
• Manage the content calendar and ensure nothing goes out without being reviewed against brand guidelines.

Who You Are

• You have a genuine interest in health, science and why people make the decisions they make about their bodies.
• You write in clear, direct, human English — no jargon, no filler, no exclamation marks where they dont belong.
• You have an aesthetic eye and understand that how something looks is as much a message as what it says.
• You are proficient in Canva and comfortable with Edits app or a similar video editing tool.
• You are organised, deadline-driven and can manage multiple campaigns without dropping the ball.
• You understand that a medical brand has responsibilities that a lifestyle brand does not — accuracy matters, tone matters, and what we do not say is as important as what we do.
• You are genuinely curious about why metabolic health is broken in India — and you follow that curiosity independently, not because its your job.
• You can tell the difference between a health trend and health science, and you are not afraid to say so.

• A personal social media presence that shows your sensibility.
• Prior experience in a health, wellness or medical brand.
• Video editing skills beyond basic cuts.
• Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager or content analytics tools.

Why This Role

You will be working at the front line of one of the most interesting health categories in India right now — medically supervised metabolic health. You will have real ownership over how a credible, growing brand sounds and looks on social media. You will work directly with the performance marketing lead and have visibility into campaigns, data and strategy
