Job summary

Glass Crayon Media and Marketing in Bengaluru seeks a proactive Social Media Associate to balance creativity with client coordination. This on-site role focuses on delivering campaigns, coordinating with teams, and maintaining brand consistency across client communications.

You'll manage multiple accounts, plan content, coordinate with creatives, and report results while staying ahead of platform changes and trends. Degree in Marketing/Communications preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Be primary contact for 5-6 client accounts, ensuring clear communication and timely approvals.
• Plan and execute social media activity across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and X.
• Build monthly content calendars, campaign plans and shoot plans aligned with client goals.
• Convert client briefs into internal briefs for design, copy and strategy teams.
• Coordinate with designers, copywriters and videographers to publish posts on time.
• Manage content publishing, monitor channels and respond to comments when required.
• Track campaign performance and prepare monthly reports for clients.
• Research platform updates, trends and opportunities to identify fresh ideas.
• Support influencer and brand campaigns from shortlisting to reporting.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, pitches and client reviews.

We are looking for a proactive Social Media Associate who can balance creativity with strong client coordination. This is an account-facing role for someone who enjoys turning ideas into well-executed campaigns, communicating clearly with clients and teams, and keeping multiple projects moving smoothly.

What you’ll do

• Be the primary point of contact for 5-6 assigned client accounts, ensuring clear communication, timely approvals and smooth project delivery.
• Plan and execute social media activity across relevant platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and X.
• Build monthly content calendars, campaign plans, shoot plans and content ideas aligned with each client’s goals.
• Convert client briefs into clear internal briefs for the design, copy and strategy teams.
• Coordinate with designers, copywriters, videographers and other internal teams to ensure posts and campaigns go live on time.
• Manage content publishing, monitor social channels and respond to comments or messages where required.
• Track campaign performance using Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics and native platform insights; prepare clear monthly reports for clients.
• Research platform updates, trends, hashtags, competitor activity and content formats to identify fresh opportunities.
• Support influencer and brand collaboration campaigns, from shortlisting and coordination to execution and reporting.
• Participate in creative brainstorming sessions, campaign pitches and client review meetings.
• Maintain brand consistency across all client communication and content.

What we’re looking for

• 0-3 years of experience in social media, digital marketing or a client-servicing role within an agency or similar fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, content formats, algorithms and basic ad formats.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in speaking to clients.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines and moving priorities without losing attention to detail.
• A creative and organised mindset, with the ability to take ownership of work.
• Basic understanding of social media metrics such as reach, engagement, followers, clicks and conversions.
• Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics and native platform insights.
• A degree in Marketing, Communications, Mass Media or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.

Nice to have

• Experience with influencer campaigns, brand collaborations or content shoots.
• Familiarity with Canva, Google Sheets, Asana, Sprout Social or similar project-management tools.
• Basic design or video-editing knowledge.
• Strong presentation skills for client reviews and campaign pitches.
