Responsibilities
Responsible for leading a team of repair engineers working on improving process engineering capabilities in order to support a specific area of a manufacturing organization
Manage, train, and mentor a team of electronic repair technicians and engineers. Delegate tasks, monitor performance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
Develop, implement, and standardize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electronic issues (e.g., SMT, wave soldering, system integration).
Provide expert, hands‑on technical guidance for complex or recurring problems, applying methodologies like Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and FMEA to prevent future failures.
Oversee the inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment. Manage the repair department's budget, track expenses, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities, equipment performance metrics (e.g., Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), downtime), and compliance reports.
Establish and improve process capabilities.
