Job summary

Photon in Chennai is seeking a senior Sitecore/.NET expert with 7+ years of hands-on experience to lead multi-lingual, multi-site implementations using Helix and SXA. You will architect and build templates, renderings, and page designs, while extending Sitecore with custom components and robust caching strategies.

You will develop and expose RESTful APIs from Sitecore, integrate with external systems, and host solutions in Azure with search capabilities (Azure Search or Solr).

Qualifications

• + At least 7 years of experience in Sitecore & .NET
• + Proficient in Sitecore 8.2+ for multi-lingual and multisite implementations (Helix & SXA)
• + Strong knowledge of C#
• + Experience integrating applications using web services and REST
• + Build templates, renderings, layouts, page designs, and Sitecore caching
• + Develop and expose APIs from Sitecore using REST standards
• + Extend Sitecore configurations (Site Settings, Jobs, Pipelines, Events, Custom Processors)
• + Use ORM mappers like Glass/Synthesis with Sitecore
• + Build components following SXA standards and Helix
• + Experience with SaaS solutions (IAM, CDN, Backend Services)
• + Hosting Sitecore in Azure with Azure Search or Solr
• + Redis Cache and custom caching implementations
• + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• + Excellent communication
• + Ability to define components, troubleshoot, and provide team recommendations
• + Experience with Gitflow branching pattern and Azure DevOps CI/CD
• + Knowledge of Azure DevOps processes
• + Familiarity with Unicorn CI/CD in Azure

Job description

Must Have:

At least 7 years of experience in Sitecore & .NET

Good team player with achieving goals with the team in mind

Experience in working in Sitecore 8.2 and above for multi-lingual and multisite implementations with Helix and SXA

Strong knowledge of C#

Experience in integrating applications using web services and REST APIs

Good experience in building Templates, Renderings, Layouts, Page Designs, Partial Page Designs, Shared / Baseline site concepts, Sitecore Caching

Experience in developing and exposing APIs from Sitecore using REST standards.

Extending configurations in Sitecore by extending the built-in components such as Site Settings, Jobs and Pipelines, Sitecore Events, Custom Processors etc

Experience using Glass, Synthesis, or another ORM Mapper/Wrapper for Sitecore

Excellent knowledge and experience in building component by following SXA standards and Helix Architecture

Experience in SaaS solutions such as IAM, CDN (Content Delivery Network), Backend Services, etc.

Experience in Hosting Sitecore in Azure with Azure Search or Solr

Knowledge of Redis Cache and implementing custom caching within the website.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Must have good communication skills

Must have ability to define components, troubleshoot the issues, review the implementation and provide recommendations to address the concerns within the team.

Experience with managing team using Gitlow branching pattern

Understanding the Azure DevOps process

Experience in working in a continuous integration and deployment environment (Microsoft Azure, Continuous Deployment/Release, Unicorn)

Nice to Have:

Certification on Sitecore 9.x or above

Experience in Azure Functions, Cosmos database and integration

Knowledge on OneTrust implementations or GDPR and CCPA acts

Knowledge on any other CMS

Good understanding on Headless CMS and Hybrid implementations

Experience on XSRS, XSS, OWASP, WCAG, GDPR and CCPA
