Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage site workers, contractors and subcontractors.
• Interpret site drawings and ensure work follows project requirements.
• Monitor daily progress, manpower, materials and site quality.
• Ensure workers follow safety requirements and proper work practices.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and Site Engineer to resolve issues.
• Maintain daily progress reports, manpower records and material details.
• Support site inspections, testing and commissioning activities.

Location: Initial posting at a project site in Maharashtra. Willingness to travel and work at project sites across India as per project requirements.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day site execution activities for Railway Signalling projects.
• Monitor cable trenching, cable laying, cable pulling, cable termination, equipment installation, wiring and related site activities.
• Coordinate and manage site workers, contractors and subcontractors to ensure work is completed as planned.
• Understand site drawings and layouts and ensure work is carried out as per project requirements.
• Monitor daily work progress, manpower deployment, material availability and site quality.
• Ensure workers follow site safety requirements and proper work practices.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Engineer and other team members to resolve site-level issues.
• Maintain daily progress reports, manpower records and material-related details.
• Support site inspections, testing and commissioning activities as required.

Preferred candidate profile

• ITI or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, E&TC or a related technical field is preferred.
• 35 years of relevant site execution or site supervision experience.
• Experience in Railway Signalling / Railway S&T projects will be given preference.
• Candidates with relevant Electrical, Telecom or Railway Infrastructure site execution experience may also apply.
• Practical experience in cable laying, cable termination, equipment installation and handling site manpower or contractors is preferred.
• Should be able to understand site drawings, coordinate with workers and monitor daily work progress.
• Must be willing to work at project sites, with initial posting in Maharashtra and future deployment across India as per project requirements.
• Should be responsible, hands-on and comfortable working in a site-based role.
