Job summary

HCLTech is seeking experienced professionals for exciting opportunities in Chennai. The role focuses on SRE and CloudOps with hands-on production support leadership, monitoring, and automation across AWS/Azure/GCP and Kubernetes environments.

Ideal candidates bring 7–10 years of experience, strong Linux networking security fundamentals, and proficiency with Terraform/Ansible, Prometheus/Grafana, and CI/CD pipelines. Immediate to 30 days notice preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong SME experience in SRE principles + DevOps practices.
• Production support lead experience (L1/L2, 24×7 support, incident management, RCA).
• Hands-on monitoring & observability tools (e.g., ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, LGTM, Dynatrace, New Relic, Splunk)
• Strong troubleshooting skills for production / cloud / microservices environments
• Good Linux + networking + Security fundamentals
• Experience with automation / scripting (Python / others)
• Experience in cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Hands-on with Kubernetes / containerized environments
• Experience in IoC and Configuration Management tools (Terraform & Ansible)
• Exposure to CI/CD, release pipelines, and deployment readiness activities
• Strong exposure to large-scale systems / high availability production environments
• Knowledge of database fundamentals (SQL + NoSQL optimization)

Responsibilities

• Lead production support with 24x7 coverage and incident management.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems across cloud and microservices.
• Automate tasks using scripting (Python or others) and IaC tools.
• Maintain Kubernetes-based deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure security best practices and high availability in production.
