Job summary

Sii Poland seeks a Site Reliability Engineer to strengthen its engineering team in Chennai/remote. You will combine hands-on 2nd-level support with monitoring, automation, and reliability engineering to ensure stability and observability of a critical data delivery component.

The role requires 4+ years in SRE/DevOps, expertise with Elastic Stack and Grafana, and proficiency in Ansible, Git/GitLab, CI/CD, scripting, SQL/NoSQL, and Linux; fluent English is required for collaboration and incident

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or 2nd-level production support.
• Hands-on with Elastic Stack and Grafana for monitoring, logging, and observability.
• Strong experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
• Good hands-on with Git/GitLab and CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with scripting languages and automation of operational processes.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
• Experience with Linux systems and shell scripting.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and ownership skills in complex environments.
• Fluent English communication is required.

• Analyzing logs, metrics, and system behavior to proactively detect anomalies.

• Continuously optimizing system reliability, availability, and operational efficiency.
• Providing 2nd-level support for production systems and critical business applications.
• Investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving incidents and performance issues; performing RCA and documenting findings.
• Collaborating with development teams on sustainable issue resolution and contributing to post-incident reviews.

Job Description: We are looking for a skilled and reliability-driven Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to strengthen our engineering team. In this role, you will combine hands-on 2nd-level support experience with monitoring, automation, and reliability engineering. You will play a key role in ensuring the stability and observability of a critical component of our reference data delivery chain.

Your tasks

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining monitoring dashboards

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Elastic Stack and Grafana for monitoring, logging, and observability

• Familiarity with scripting languages and automation of operational processes
