Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) in Bengaluru seeks a Site Reliability Engineer with 4–7 years of SRE/DevOps experience to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of critical platforms. You will own incidents, implement automated remediation, and drive IaC, CI/CD, and cloud migrations.

The role emphasizes monitoring, logs, tracing, and observability across Azure and AWS, plus collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve release quality and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering or equivalent experience.
• 4–7 years of experience in SRE, production support, application support, or DevOps roles.
• Experience with Python, PowerShell or Shell.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
• Hands-on experience with Azure or AWS.
• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, log analysis, and performance monitoring skills.
• Good understanding of observability, monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve service reliability through SLOs, monitoring, and proactive problem management.
• Provide production support and resolve complex incidents within SLA.
• Conduct incident management, RCA, postmortems, and implement preventive fixes.
• Develop automation and self-healing solutions using Python, PowerShell, Shell, or similar technologies.
• Implement and support Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD practices.
• Design and maintain observability solutions using Datadog, Splunk, or similar tools.
• Support cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and cloud migration initiatives.
• Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, Database, and Security teams to improve system resilience and release quality.
• Execute Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT) and ensure operational readiness for new services.
• Participate in on-call rotations and major incident response activities.

About The Role

We are looking for a passionate Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with 4–7 years of experience to ensure the reliability, availability, performance, and scalability of business-critical applications and platforms. The role combines production support, reliability engineering, cloud operations, automation, and DevOps practices to improve operational excellence and customer experience.
