Job description

Primary Skills (Must have)

• well versed with Unix Shell Scripting
• good in building CI/CD, familiar using Jenkins, Git & Maven
• good knowledge on ITSM – Incident, Change and Problem Management
• Must be able to extract, modify, update data into Postgres, SQL DB

Job Description / Roles and responsibilities

• Incident Resolution - Review and resolve the Incidents arising from Operation Command Center Alerts / Alerts from Enterprise Monitoring Operations (EM Operations) / OMNIBUS and Splunk Alerts.
• Change Implementation - Deploying changes of High Impact (CAB approved Normal Changes), enthusiastic in automating repetitive/ standard tasks through XLR or similar tools.
• Must have application deployment pipeline for deployment, fixing and troubleshooting any issues during deployments except code fix.
• Work Orders - Resolve Work orders in form of Business/functional queries, ad hoc testing, verification, and validation etc., from Regional product team and customer support teams.
• Problem management - Identifying problem tickets and building case with Developers post complete due diligence.
• Monitoring - Identifying critical parameters from Infra and application perspective, modifying existing dashboard and optimization of alerts.
• Keen eye for identifying automation/ service improvement opportunities, achieving same through Python, shell scripting or process wise proposals.
• Experience in pull, modify and update data in DB such as Postgres/ SQL/ Oracle.
